In the time between October 1, 2000 and September, 21 2004 I studied computer science at the University of Karlsruhe (TH). After eight semesters I graduated to the degree of “Diplom-Informatiker”. Since the completion of my studies I am member of the University’s Alumni Network.
Shortly after that, on November 1, 2004, I started to work in the country Luxembourg at the RESTENA Foundation. This foundation is the central internet administration in Luxembourg. Its main responsibilities are:
- creating, administering and further developing the Luxembourg national research and education network
- registry (and, for the moment, registrar as well) for the ccTLD “ .lu ”
- providing the platform “Luxemburg Internetwork Exchange” (LIX) for internet provider connectivity
In cooperation with the University of Luxembourg I am currently beginning my doctoral thesis. Its topic is within the research project “JRA5 - Roaming and Authorisation” in the European research network GEANT2.
Here is a list (at the moment rather short) of my publications.
